  • COMING FEBRUARY 2022

Impulsive young Prince Siegfried craves glory and recognition from his aloof parents, the king and queen of Denmark. Starting a war with a neighbouring country and seeking out the most feared dragon in the realm seems like a good place to start.

An epic tale full of action, adventure, mythological beasts, magical swords, powerful rings, and a treacherous companion.

Adapted from the ancient Norse mythological Völsunga Saga, Siegfried: Dragon Slayer is the first in a two-part series by Canadians Mark Allard-Will and Jasmine Redford.

  • COMING 2022 Living in different worlds and separated by an ocean, a father and son try to stay connected through the power of imagination as their distanced lives pull them further apart.
  • Ross, a local hero known as the Child-finder, fights to retain his humanity following a Wheetago bite at his cabin north of Edmonton. His wife and daughter are trapped in the city, surrounded by a vast army of marauding Wheetago. Ross forms an uneasy alliance with four escaped prisoners who narrowly escaped a Wheetago attack, and a mother and her young son after they also escaped a Wheetago attack. The unlikely allies work together to create a safe refuge at the cabin.

The deadly and ancient Wheetago are conquering the land and sky using either a bite attack to transform their victims, or a paralyzing scream to freeze and feast upon them. Ross was bitten by the Wheetago who killed his mother, and he will discover that the Wheetago have renamed him ROTH, and are expecting him to ‘turn’ like they have to join their gruesome crusade. Ross has half turned already, and if he lets go of his family medicine, the rat root he’s clutching, he will turn fully to attack and feast on the group as well as his own family. He plans to get into the city to save them and bring them back to the small community at the cabin where, so far, it is still safe.

‘A beautiful, visual-poem about motherhood and art.’ A poetic exploration of being both a new mother and an artist, told using her own unique graphic novel and fine art approach. When Alice was born her mother only found time to draw her while she napped. Gradually Alice is multiplied in a tapestry of selves, both large and small, while an overarching narrative whispers through the pages, musing on the meeting of former and future selves. At its core, Alice at Naptime tells a universal story, of a parent pining for past freedoms, while simultaneously descending down a rabbit hole of all-encompassing maternal love.
