We’re trying something a little different with our latest book releases.
Necromantic hits comic and book stores this week.
And is also on Kickstarter, now.
Usually we launch new books at comic conventions, Expos and with store events. Thanks to the pandemic, well, that’s just not possible for the time being.
So we’re experimenting with Kickstarter to see if we can connect with more readers and generate the excitement we’d normally find at the shows. It’s a short campaign so we can launch a virtual convention once it’s complete.
Rewards include signed books, prints, sketch commissions, and video teaching classes with the creators.
The virtual convention will include panels, Q&A’s and live streams of the creators working and talking about their work.
If you pick up a copy of Necromantic from your a store, you can still join the virtual convention experience for less than the price of a monthly comic book.
Check out the campaign on Kickstarter, and let us know what you think.
We’re trying something similar with ABC Monstrosity by Shea Proulx too. Details coming very soon.
