The Doug Wright Awards, Canada’s version of the Eisners, were announced on Saturday at the Arts and Letters Club in Toronto to celebrate excellence in the Canadian comic industry. These national awards are prestigious and help to spread awareness and create greater recognition for Canadian comics.
Renegade books and creators were honoured to be nominated for three awards and won one! With big congratulations to Elaine M. Will, Stefano Jun, and a well deserved win for Kat Simmers and Ryan Danny Owen.
