Someone is stringing up blood drained corpses across the city, in what appear to be ritual killings, leaving the cops scrambling for answers before more bodies pile up. Meanwhile, Sun, a young woman recently added to the ranks of the blood sucking undead, feeds her hunger and rage on the men she feels deserve her wrath. Along with the police, more than one legendary vampire has their sights set on her too. A tale of blood, monsters, and those that walk amongst them seeking to help us all.

The man who knows that vampires kill their own lunch, sure don’t sparkle, and are rarely troubled by teenage angst, has created a new vampire comic series that spills the blood on vampires in our world today. The bloody brainchild of William Simpson, VMT represents his unfiltered vision for a real vampire story. A new vampire graphic novel series that he is both writing and drawing.

Someone is stringing up blood drained corpses across the city, in what appear to be ritual killings, leaving the cops searching for answers before too many more bodies build up.

William Simpson is an internationally renowned artist, whose career began in comic strip art, working on a range of character icons: Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, Batman, Transformers, Hellblazer, Tyranny Rex, Aliens, Vamps and Indiana Jones. In recent years he has developed his work in the film industry providing storyboards for a variety of feature films, as well as for Game of Thrones. His work for Renegade includes the Shades of Grey series.

Lovern Kindzierski is a successful writer, colourist and illustrator based in Winnipeg, Canada. He has been nominated as best colourist for the Eisner Awards, Harvey Awards, and Schuster Awards. As a writer, he has worked on titles including Spiderman, Wolverine, and The Victorian. His recent work includes colours for Neil Gaiman’s Norse Mythology, Steve Niles’ Graveyard Moon, as well as Necromantic and A Slug Story for Renegade.

“Will Simpson’s gorgeous artwork perfectly offsets his gloriously gruesome vampire saga. He finds the human in the monstrous, and vice versa — with a heavy emphasis on the “vice.” Fountains of blood await you, not to mention hideous worms. What are you waiting for?”

–David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, creators of Game of Thrones

“Will Simpson has been absent from comics for far too long. I for one am delighted to see him back with VMT.”

— Garth Ennis (Preacher, The Boys)
